Everton set to sign Oumar Niasse

Everton look set to sign striker Oumar Niasse from Lokomotiv Moscow after the club had a £13.5m bid accepted, according to the Guardian.

The article claims that Senegalese forward is in the North-west and will now travel to Merseyside to discuss personal terms.

Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Aston Villa have all scouted Niasse but it looks as though Everton have acted first in an attempt to bolster their attack after the transfer of Steven Naismith.

Niasse has scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 21 games this season and was also voted the Russian Premier League player of the year in 2015 which shows the kind of pedigree player Everton might just be getting. With teams such as Bayer Leverkusen and Monaco also having bids turned down, the player certainly could be a signing of good quality for the Merseyside club.

It is yet to be seen whether Everton will be able to push through a deal but with the deadline fast approaching the club will be hoping Niasse will sign on the dotted line before the deadline on Monday evening.
