Everton vs. Newcastle: Football Manager Simulation
Everton face off against Newcastle United on Wednesday evening and the Blues will be looking to get back to winning ways without a win in the Premier League since boxing day, coincidentally against the Geordies.
The Merseysiders beat Carlisle 3-0 yesterday in the FA Cup Fourth Round with Arouna Kone, Aaron Lennon and Ross Barkley getting the goals. Everton will be looking to take the attacking display from that game and look to outscore Newcastle.
With that in mind, we ran our usual Football Manager 2016 simulator to see just how the popular simulation game predicts we will get on. Safe to say they predict a comprehensive win.

The Blues would win 3-0 who dominated the game with 59% possession and the scoreline shows the Merseysiders clinical nature with Mirallas, Deulofeu and Football Manager 2016 signing Aduriz will all the goals.
Leighton Baines picked up MOTM with a 9.4 rating with other notable performances from Daryl Janmatt and Seamus Coleman. Everton now sit 7th in the table with Spurs sitting comfortably ahead of them in 6th.
The Blues will be looking to create such an impressive performance when the two meet on Wednesday which could see the Merseysiders into a good period of form at the end of the season.
