Everton set up a trip to Wembley and dumped Chelsea out of the F.A Cup as a brace from Romelu Lukaku sent Evertonians into dreamland.
The Blues battled hard, defended well and thoroughly deserved the victory, while a lacklustre Chelsea were left to lick their gaping wounds from the evening and the season as a whole.
Romelu Lukaku scored one of the best goals many Evertonians will ever see, and the Belgian killed his former club off five minutes later with a cool finish.
Diego Costa and Gareth Barry were sent off late on as the Toffeemen beat Chelsea at Goodison Park for the second time this season.
Click below to see Romelu Lukaku get his inevitable 10/10 rating.
Joel Robles - 6.
The Spaniard didn’t actually have much to do. He did well to save Willian’s dangerous free-kick and punched away a few crosses.
Seamus Coleman - 7
The Irishman had the better of Pedro and made some great offensive runs. He does need to work on his delivery, it does let him down at times.
His crunching tackle on Pedro midway through the first-half pepped up the crowd even more.
Phil Jagielka - 7
The captain dealt with the presence of Diego Costa excellently and marshalled the whole backline superbly.
Read danger well and made some very important clearance, a commanding display from Jagielka.
Ramiro Funes Mori - 7
The Argentinian improved on his poor display against West Ham United with a solid outing against the Champions.
Showed composure and quality throughout. Deserves his place in the starting line-up.
Leighton Baines - 8
Baines hasn’t played a lot of football recently and has been struggling with an ankle problem all season long, but none of those factors stopped him from delivering an excellent, intelligent display.
Nullified the usually excellent Willian and was a real presence going forward, Baines showed his true defensive and attacking quality this evening, it’s a pleasure to see him play when on top of his game.
Gareth Barry - 8.
The veteran delivered yet another excellent midfield display, brimming with good distribution, strong tackling and constant pressing.
Got sent off late on for a silly challenge on Fabregas, but we’ll let the veteran off, shall we?
James McCarthy - 7
The Irishman’s passing was a bit erratic at times, but his energy, tackling and positioning kept the Blues ticking along.
Aaron Lennon - 7.
Had the beating of Kenedy all game long, Lennon was his archetypical self. Industrious, lightning quick, the 29-year-old made things happen in the final third and is fully deserving of his place in the Everton line-up.
Ross Barkley - 7.
Set up Lukaku for the killer second, Barkley’s passing was wayward at times but he was always trying to be positive, trying to push the Blues forward.
Tom Cleverley - 7.
Like Lennon, Cleverley was industrious and worked hard for the good of the team. He helped Baines stifle Willian, but did tire as the game went on.
Romelu Lukaku - 10.
Don’t you dare disagree. Lukaku delivered one of the best Everton moments of the 21st century with a sublime wondergoal, and ensured Everton’s place at Wembley with a deadly finish.
25 goals, one unforgettable memory, one world-class centre-forward.
