Everton tracking Turkish international midfielder
According to The Chronicle, Everton are interested in signing Fenerbahce midfielder Ozan Tufan this summer.
Everton are joined by Manchester United, Sunderland and Southampton in their interest in the midfielder.
Tufan has attracted the attention of Premier League club’s following his impressive displays for Turkey at the European Championships this summer. Tufan recently scored at the Euros, scoring in a 2-0 win against the Czech Republic.
The 21-year-old central midfielder has already been capped 27 times by his country, showing how highly rated he is in European football. Now, it looks like he could have the chance to prove himself in one of the best leagues in the world; the Premier League.
Tufan does still have four years left on his current Fenerbahce contract. This means it will take a sizeable fee to prize him away from Turkey. Everton will have to act quickly to beat the other clubs interested in the promising midfielder.
