Lukaku agent explains only select clubs can afford striker
Romelu Lukaku’s agent Mino Raiola has revealed only PSG, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid would be able to afford his client, opening the door for a new long-term deal.
The forward scored a hat-trick against Sunderland last week and continued his scoring with the smallest of touches on Yannick Bolasie’s cross against Middlesbrough.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Lukaku’s agent has praised Everton and their chairman Bill Kenwright, as well as opening the door for a new long-term deal.
We are talking, yes it is possible that he could stay
This year the message was clear he was not for sale and he is really happy there at the moment. We are happy with what the club is doing now, we will see how the season goes.
The Toffees are currently 2nd in the table with their best start in 38 years, one draw and four wins.
The players have no sign of stopping and should Everton surprise everyone and qualify for Champions League, the club may be able to keep hold of Romelu in any circumstance.
Though, Raiola maintains that there are four clubs that could certainly afford him, and would most likely be able to prise him from Everton.
There was talk of Juventus but no-one can afford him in Italy. Outside of England, realistically the only clubs that can afford him are Paris Saint Germain, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Raiola went on to praise Everton’s owner and chairman Bill Kenwright, explaining he is the man ‘I would like to have as owner of my football club’.
The beauty for Everton is the chairman Bill Kenwright. This man is one of the most amazing men I have met in my 35 years in football. I would like to have as owner of my football club. ‘He knows what players really need I believe, he is a great character who loves his club. It is a great strength.’
