Cleverley joins Watford
Everton and England midfielder Tom Cleverley has joined Watford FC on loan until the end of the season.
Both Everton and Watford have agreed a loan deal until the end of the 16/17 Premier League season, with Watford having the option to make the loan permanent in the summer for a reported £8m.
The 27-year-old, who joined Everton from Manchester United in the summer of 2015, has made a total of 32 appearances for the Toffees since 2015, scoring a total of two goals.
The midfielder has struggled for game time under new manager Ronald Koeman so far into 16/17 Premier League season, making just four league starts.
This will be the midfielder’s second time at Vicarage Road. He spent time on loan with the Hornets back in the 2009-10 Championship season, where he made 33 appearances, scoring eleven goals.
