Everton are clearly refusing to let Romelu Lukaku go without a fight, and it’s now claimed that they will demand a quite incredible fee of £100 million for the Belgium international.

According to an exclusive report from the Liverpool Echo today, the Toffees are keen to seek a world-record fee if Lukaku does move on this summer in an attempt to fend off potential suitors.

The Belgian, who has hit the net an incredible 24 times this season, is not going to sign a new deal at Goodison Park and will seek a move to take his career to the next level.

However, if Lukaku is to move on, a club will need to cough up an obscene amount of money to lure him away from Ronald Koeman’s grasp at Everton.

The 23-year-old is undoubtedly ready to play Champions League football but will need to focus on the remainder of the season with Everton.
