Long considered one of the brightest talents in France, Boudebouz has enjoyed a successful season, with 11 goals and eight assists to his name, and is now being touted with a move abroad.
Newcastle United were offered the chance to sign the Algerian in January for just £8million, but owner Mike Ashley passed on the opportunity. Since then, an upturn in form for the 27-year old has led to Montpellier, according to Maxifoot, refusing any offer below £13million.
However, Everton will face competition from across Europe, with several other sides from Spain, Italy and England all said to be interested.
Maxifoot also claim that Boudebouz is determined to sign for a club with European football on the agenda next season, and Everton are almost certain to qualify for the Europa League, so may have an advantage in that regard.
