Inter name their price for Everton target
Everton’s summer spending spree has picked up even more speed, with Calciomercato reporting on The Toffees’ interest in Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
Inter are said to have named their price at around £25 million, however the Croatian midfielder has a £50m release clause in his contract. This fee would seem like no barrier for Everton, who have already splashed the cash on new signings, with the summer transfer window yet to open.
After announcing the arrival of Jordan Pickford from Sunderland for a fee in the region of £30 million, The Toffees then announced the £26.3m signing of Ajax captain Davy Klaassen.
With reported interest in the likes of Carlos Bacca and M’Baye Niang of AC Milan, Everton look set for heavy spending ahead of the 2017/18 campaign, with European football to look forward to as well.
Brozovic has also been linked with a move to Manchester United, but news has dried up about The Red Devil’s interest.
