Everton keen on Arsenal outcast
Everton are reportedly keen to land Arsenal defender Calum Chambers this summer if their proposed move for Michael Keane falls through.
According to a report from the Daily Mail today, the England Under-21 international is being seriously considered for a move to Goodison Park this summer as Ronald Koeman looks to bolster his defensive options.
The Toffees have already secured two new signings this summer, with Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen signing for a combined total of over £50m. Along with this, Sandro Ramirez is set to put pen to paper on a deal to sign for Everton in the coming days.
However, they are not happy to stop just there and Koeman is ready to land a new centre back or two this summer.
It’s claimed that Arsenal value Chambers at £15m, which is almost certainly an affordable price to pay for the defender, who can play in central defence and at right back.
Newcastle and Bournemouth are also keen, while RB Leipzig have been cited with interest too.
