AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang has laughed off claims he could be on his way to Goodison Park this summer.

The Frenchman took to Instagram to confirm that he was not spending the day as the club’s training ground, as reports had suggested.

Niang has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Everton after a mixed loan spell with Watford during the second half of the season.

The forward appears to be one of many players on their way out of AC Milan this summer, with the Italian club looking to rejuvenate their squad.

Everton’s Steve Walsh has been spending time in Italy, holding talks with several Serie A sides, including both Milan clubs.

The Toffees had been linked with a deal worth around £15 million for Niang this summer.

In 16 appearances for Watford, Niang scored just twice and registered a further two assists last season.
