These reports suggested that the British playmaker is demanding around £150,000 a week, however, Barkley has clearly denied these reports.
It was claimed that he was demanding more money than both Hugo Lloris and Harry Kane but he’s obviously been quick to deny these.
The 23-year-old has come through the Everton academy, starting in 2005, and has played 150 matches throughout his professional career with Everton, scoring 31 times, but it looks like his time at Goodison Park is coming to an end with Spurs and other clubs seemingly interested in signing him.
