Both Everton and Tottenham interested in signing Thomas Delaney
Both Everton and Tottenham are interested in signing Werder Bremen’s star midfielder Thomas Delaney, according to reports from Germany.
The 26-year-old was a target for Burnley during the summer but he made it lear that he had no intention of moving to Turf Moor, but a transfer to either Everton or Spurs could tempt him.
The Danish midfielder is an international team-mate of Christian Eriksen and Mauricio Pochettino reportedly wants to unite the duo at Tottenham.
Everton manager Ronald Koeman is also a big fan of the Bremen star and he too could choose to make a bid for him in January.
Delaney is apparently keen to make a move from the Bundesliga to the Premier League so if Everton or Spurs are interested, there is every chance that they could convince the player to make a move.
Bremen only signed Delaney in January 2017 so they will be keen to keep him, so it’s not a forgone conclusion that he will be available in the winter, but this is certainly a story to keep an eye on.
