Everton and Chelsea eye Ghanaian striker
Everton are reportedly scouting Chelsea target Richmond Boakye.
According to a report from Serbian news outlet HotSport, the Toffees are taking an interest in the Ghana international, who has been in good form this season.
Boakye is currently plying his trade with Red Star Belgrade, and has been catching the eye of several clubs across Europe with some deadly attacking performances.
The 24-year-old is set to be scouted on Thursday night when he spearheads his side’s attack in their Europa League clash against Premier League outfit Arsenal.
Everton struggled to recruit a striker in the summer and have therefore been left with a lack of depth up top following the departure of Romelu Lukaku.
This would explain their evident interest in Boakye, who has scored more than 30 goals for club and country so far in the calendar year of 2017.
Boakye will now hope to continue his good form and push Red Star on.
