The international break is coming to a close and over the time that there has been no worthwhile football on, I’ve been having a think about the good old Ev’.

More specifically, just who is it (besides unfortunate family and regional circumstances) that makes me love the Blues, through all the absolute misery that they serve up to me? We’ve had some shockers down the years, even just in my short life, but we’ve also had some moments from players that I don’t ever think I’m going to forget as long as I live.

Tom Davies’ breakout against Man City and Oumar Niasse’s second against Bournemouth spring to mind instantly. Oh, and Stracqualursi’s goal against Chelsea as I was sat in hospitality for my Uncle’s 50th. Stuff like that.

On a more permanent basis than moments, we’ve had some players down the years that are just so endearing that you grow to love them. And as Evertonians, we appreciate our players more than most.

At least the ones who realise just what shirt they have on.

So here’s a nice easy read containing some of my favourite few.
