Everton are reportedly interested in signing Daniel Opare, who is out of contract with Augsburg at the end of the season.

The right-back has been in good form for the Bundesliga outfit this season and has attracted interest from clubs across Europe.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, three Premier League clubs are keen to land the defender and Everton are among those interested in securing Opare.

The 27-year-old is likely to leave Augsburg in the January transfer window, with the German club aiming to raise funds. Opare could be available for a fee as low as £3 million.

Everton currently lack sufficient cover at full-back. Seamus Coleman is still recovering from a broken leg, meaning the only real options on the right are Cuco Martina and young Jonjoe Kenny.

However, if Everton are to land Oprare, they will need to fend off competition.

The report states that the Toffees are joined by West Ham and Swansea in their interest.
