AC Milan’s director of sport Massimiliano Mirabelli has claimed that Everton target Andre Silva will be staying with the club beyond the January transfer window.
Everton have been linked with a move for Silva as they look to bolster their attacking options this month.
The club completed the signing of Cenk Tosun for £27m last week, but are still thought to be eyeing up other options up front with Oumar Niasse set to leave.
Speaking to Calcio Mercato, Mirabelli said this:
I know Andre Silva is going through tough times but he is a very important player for us.
There is feeling between us and he has amazing skills and qualities. He will remain with us in January and is set to stay at the club for many many years.
Silva is yet to open his account in the Serie A for Milan this season, after his €30m move from Porto last summer.
