Everton are set to add another talented starlet to their ranks as they close in on Charlton Athletic defender Ezri Konsa, according to the South London Press.
Konsa, 20, has become a mainstay in the Addicks first-team over the last two seasons, and has played 29 times in all competitions this season so far.
Everton were believed to have been interested in Konsa in the summer, but a deal never came to fruition. However, according to South London Press, the deal is expected to go through this month.
The deal is expected to cost the club around £4million.
Konsa would be the second player to join the Toffees from Charlton in the last 12 months, following Ademola Lookman’s switch from South London to Merseyside last January.
He was also a member of the victorious England Under-20 team that won the World Cup in the summer, where he made his debut in the semi-final against Italy.
