Lennon waiting to finalise terms with Burnley
Everton winger Aaron Lennon seems to be edging ever closer to signing for Burnley.
The experienced wide man is a target for the Clarets and a move appears to be on the cards in the near future. However, according to the Mirror, it seems there are still some issues that must be ironed out before a move is sanctioned.
Lennon is stated to be keen on the move to Turf Moor and Everton are evidently open to letting him go. Both clubs are claimed by the Mirror to have agreed on a nominal fee for the transfer but the player is still looking to finalise some more terms before a medical is organised.
The report states that Lennon has agreed financial terms with Sean Dyche’s side and will look to conclude negotiations with them once the additional terms have been agreed to.
With Everton signing Theo Walcott this month, Lennon’s game time at the club is sure to be limited. This has led to him clearly seeking pastures new.
