Michael Keane speaks of how Everton striker is a “nightmare”
Everton defender Michael Keane has heaped the praise on forward Oumar Niasse by labelling him “a nightmare”, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Keane was referencing when the two come up against each other on the training pitch, saying that the Toffees striker gives him no respite despite the pair only involving themselves in training matches.
The Toffees are currently out on a warm weather trip in Dubai due to them being knocked out of the FA Cup, which gives the players a chance to switch off from the pressures of the Premier League.
Senegal international Niasse was deemed surplus to requirements by former boss Ronald Koeman, only for the Dutchman to bring the forward in from the cold and have him save the day, netting two goals in a vital win against Bournemouth before the turn of the year.
He has since gone on to net eight goals in 18 appearances this season for the Toffees and is becoming a vital member of the side.
Keane praised Niasse by saying:
He never gives in and never stops running.
He is a nightmare to play against – I know that from Finch Farm.
