It has not been plain sailing for Klaassen since his big-money move from Ajax to Goodison Park in the summer. After failing to convince under Ronald Koeman, he has struggled to secure regular game time under both David Unsworth and Sam Allardyce.

The Dutchman will be brought in from the cold when Everton’s youngsters take on their Welsh counterparts, with Klaassen hoping to impress and feature in the Toffees’ run-in towards the end of the season.
Funes Mori, on the other hand, has been at Everton for some time now but has seen his opportunities this season severely limited as a result of a long-term injury.
According to the Echo, Klaassen is likely to get 70 minutes’ worth of football under his belt against Swansea’s Under-23 side. Funes Mori, though, is in line to play a full match as he continues to progress with his recovery.
