Everton are prepared to pay Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere a staggering £8million as a signing on bonus if he lets his contract with the Gunners expire this summer, according to The Times
The 26-year old is one of several English players to have been linked with a move to Everton this summer in recent weeks, with speculation also suggesting the Toffees are considering moves for Jamie Vardy and Phil Jones.
The England international midfielder is due to become a free agent this summer, though Arsenal have offered him a new deal and he would prefer to stay at the Emirates Stadium, despite being offered more money elsewhere.

However, the two parties are still some way from agreeing to terms. The Gunners have offered Wilshere a new deal with a reduced wage, cutting to around £80,000-a-week, although he would have chances to increase it through bonuses and appearance payments.
Wilshere is not happy with the terms of the deal on the table, and Everton are looking to take advantage by taking an aggressive approach to signing him.
However, they aren’t the only club looking to sign the midfielder, with Juventus and AC Milan also said to be interested.
With Morgan Schneiderlin struggling this season, Everton will be keen to strengthen their midfield options in the summer, and Wilshere would link up with long-time teammate Theo Walcott if he does decide to move to Goodison Park.
