Lazio reportedly want to sign Ramiro Funes Mori from Everton this summer.
According to reports from Italy, the Serie A outfit have already opened negotiations with the Toffees over a potential transfer.
Funes Mori has been sidelined for much of the 2017/18 season as a result of a long-term knee injury. However, it seems his stock has not decreased since, with Simone Inzaghi’s side seemingly interested.
Lazio will be in need of defensive reinforcements in the summer transfer window. Stefan de Vrij, who had previously been linked with Everton, is set to join Inter Milan at the end of the season with his contract expiring, meaning that they will need to seek a replacement for the Dutchman.

Everton are relatively well-stocked in central defence but could move for some fresh blood in the summer, with many of their options ageing.
The 25-year-old could be tempted to seek pastures new, with the prospect of playing for one of Italy’s biggest clubs certainly an exciting one if Lazio are indeed keen.
