Four games remaining.
Let’s move past the Swansea game, there is nothing healthy to be gained from dwelling on that performance. Up next, a Newcastle side who are gliding by this season.
On the surface, Newcastle’s squad is largely made up of Championship quality players, however despite a shaky start on their return to the Premier League, experienced boss Rafa Benitez has handled his side with a real panache that highlights why he was such a coup for the Tyneside club in the first place.
The Magpies have won their last four games on the spin, and have picked up the most points of any Premier League side outside of the top six since the turn of the year (I think, I’m sure I read that on Twitter).
Everton meanwhile, well, they could do with a little momentum. They don’t have any yet, but there is always a time to start.
My XI for this week, which will once again be nothing like the actual line-up…
