Everton are looking to make at least three new signings for their U23’s squad and one of those is Sheffield Wednesday striker George Hirst, according to reports.
The Blues have been interested in the 19-year old for a long time and he is out of contract at the end of this season, but Everton will face competition from Manchester United for his signature.

The 19-year-old has been excluded from matches at every level at Hillsborough this season as he has refused to sign a long-term deal.
Wednesday are resigned to losing their top talent when his existing deal expires at the end of this season and as a result of this, some big clubs, including the Toffees, are circling.
Hirst is a fantastic young talent who has played for various England teams up to and including the Under-20s, and it with the last with whom he won the Toulon Tournament last year. He is an exciting player who David Unsworth would certainly love to have in his squad for next season.
