Everton are being linked with a move for PSG defender Yuri Berchiche.
According to claims from the Guardian, the Toffees are quietly hopeful of securing a deal for the left-back this summer.
The 28-year-old has been alternating with Layvin Kurzawa in the PSG defence throughout the course of the season and it seems as though interest is building ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

Berchiche has started 17 games in Ligue 1 this season but a new challenge could await the Spaniard, with a number of clubs touted as potential destinations for the player.
The Guardian’s report indicates that a move back to his homeland of Spain could be a possibility. It’s stated that Atletico Madrid are joined by Athletic Bilbao in their admiration of the experienced defender.
Everton may be on the lookout for a left-back this summer, as they were in the January transfer window, with Leighton Baines now well into his 30’s.
