Everton set to beat Man United to signing of Dutch star

Rumours have recently surfaced linking hot prospect Justin Kluivert to Everton in Wednesday’s Tuttosport. This comes in a complete contrast to the news circling the Manchester United camp, who have looked like the young wingers preferred destination. Tuttosport reported:

La vendetta è un piatto che va consumato freddo, ma che forse Mino Raiola preferisce caldo fumante.

The basic translation of this is:

revenge is best served cold, but perhaps Mino Raiola prefers it smoking hot.

Raiola happens to be Kluivert’s agent and has been extremely unhappy with Manchester United in recent months. It is reported that Raiola will use Kluivert against United and urge the young forward towards a move to Everton.

Raiola’s relationship with the Reds has significantly deteriorated recently. Mino had four clients at the club (Romelu Lukaku, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan), and now only one remains – Pogba. Both Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan have departed the club and Lukaku has switched agencies.

Tuttosport lacked to mention the progress of Everton’s current negotiations with Kluivert, opting instead to focus primarily on the relationship between the agent and United. However, the Toffees can be reassured by this news, as they will take a clear advantage over United when the transfer window opens for the youngster’s signature.
