Everton will have to fight if they are to get Marco Silva as their new manager as another club is now contemplating his appointment, report the Mirror.
West Ham are reportedly considering putting the Portuguese manager in charge of their side, rather than David Moyes.
The Hammers are well aware that Silva wants to return to the Premier League and like many, they’ve beem impressed by what he brought to the league when in charge of Hull and Watford.
Silva started brightly at the Hornets before being linked with the Everton job in November. He then oversaw a run of one win in 11 and Watford said Everton were the catalyst for his departure from the Hertfordshire club.
Sam Allardyce was then appointed as the Toffees bossm but despite guiding the Blues to an eighth-place finish, fans are less than happy with the performances on the pitch.
There has been speculation over the Englishman’s future for a while now, with Silva being tipped as the favourite to succeed him, but Everton will need to move quickly if they want to appoint the 40-year-old as West Ham could poach him first.
