Derby County target loan move for Ademola Lookman
Everton forward Ademola Lookman is being targeted by Championship club Derby County who are attempting to sign him on a season long loan, according to a report from the Derby Telegraph.
Derby County have been strongly linked with a loan move for Lookman as they are looking to add more firepower in their attack to help them to promotion this season.
19-year-old Lookman may be sent out on loan by manager Ronald Koeman to ensure that he gets enough game time to develop himself as a player and going to Derby could be the perfect solution for all parties.
Derby manager Gary Rowett confirmed the club’s interest in Lookman.
We know there are a lot of names out there, a lot of Premier League players out there that would give us something different, and Lookman would be one of those players.
Historically, most of those deals are done late. So we might have to be patient with one or two of those.
The manager has admitted that it may be difficult to convince the player to join the club but they are remaining patient and hopeful of completing a deal before the transfer window closes.
