Everton missed out on Club Brugge youngster
Everton failed in an attempt to sign Club Brugge youngster Noah Fadiga earlier this year, according to Senego, via Sport Witness.
The report claims that Everton were interested in bringing him to England last season before he signed his first professional contract with Club Brugge.
Fadiga put pen to paper on his first senior deal recently, opting against a move to England.
It is claimed that Premier League sides Everton and Southampton were both sniffing around and could have been viable options for the midfielder.
Instead, Fadiga committed his immediate future to Club Brugge and is set to work his way into the first-team set-up next season.
The 17-year-old is also said to have rejected Genoa and Roma from Italy, alongside Southampton and Everton.
Fadiga also recently signed a contract with Nike to become one of their clients.
The talented midfielder is the son of former Bolton and Coventry midfielder Khalilou Fadiga.
