Everton will need to put their hands in their pockets and double Sean Dyche’s wages to lure him away from Turf Moor.

The Mirror reports that Dyche’s currently earns somewhere in the region of £2 million at Burnley, but that would need to rise closer to £4 million for him to take the vacant job at Goodison Park.

Dyche has seen his name linked to the job after the brilliant job he has done at Burnley.

Burnley are currently seventh in the Premier League after just 11 games and Bill Kenwright would like to appoint a British manager after sacking Ronald Koeman.

Majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri is keen for the Toffees to make a big appointment to replace Koeman, with Diego Simeone seeing his name linked to the job. However, it’s unlikely they’ll be able to lure him away from Atletico Madrid anytime soon.

Moshiri‘s aim is to bring in a big name manager that will be able to attract high-profile players, something he doesn’t necessarily believe Dyche will do.
