Everton’s Sandro Ramirez has confirmed that he would like to stay in Spain beyond his loan spell with Sevilla.
As reported by the Liverpool Echo, Ramirez told Diario ABC de Sevilla that a permanent switch to Sevilla is firmly in his sights.
I would like to stay next season, I have it clear. It is a competitive and demanding club. I will speak with Everton to tell him that I want to continue.
The report suggests that Everton are still considering the former Barcelona attacker as part of their plans, but the player is not interested in a Goodison Park return.
The forward joined the club from Malaga for just £5.2 million and at the time was lauded as one of the signings of the summer.
Ramirez was unable to settle in the Premier League and struggled during his brief stint with Everton.
He joined Sevilla on loan until the end of the season and his immediate future with the club remains unclear.
Since joining the Spanish side on loan the 22-year-old has made five appearances and is yet to break his goalscoring duck for Sevilla.
