Marco Silva announced as Everton manager
Marco Silva has officially been announced as Everton’s new manager on a three-year contract.
Silva has been drafted in to replace Sam Allardyce who left the Merseyside club after just six months at the helm.
The ex-Hull City and Watford manager has been without a job since he was sacked by the Hornets in January.
He resigned as Hull manager in May 2017 after their relegation and took the job as Watford boss two days later.

Silva was linked with the Everton managerial role whilst he was in charge at Vicarage Road and it looked certain that he would be leaving to take over at Goodison Park, but it didn’t end that way.
With Silva linked with the Everton job, Watford’s form dipped, taking only got five points from a possible 30, and the fans got increasingly frustrated with the manager and his lack of commitment to the club.
The Portuguese man has finally got the job he seemingly wanted all along.
