Everton are facing an uphill battle in their attempts to convince Wilfried Zaha to join the club this summer.
The Mirror reports that Zaha is one of Marco Silva’s key transfer targets with the club showing ‘firm interest’, but the Ivorian international is not so sure about a return to the North.
After impressing at Crystal Palace, Zaha earned a move to Manchester United and his struggles at Old Trafford were well documented.
Zaha then returned to Palace, where he has gone onto become a key figure in their squad and his goals helped keep them in the top flight.
Palace are doing everything in their power to keep hold of the player who scored nine times in the Premier League last season, with a new bumper contract offer reportedly on the table.
The Eagles are offering the player a huge £125,000-a-week deal, despite the fact he only put pen to paper on a new deal just a few months prior.
