Tottenham will rival Everton for the signature of Domagoj Vida as Mauricio Pochettino’s men reportedly lodge a €18 million bid for the player.
Reports in Turkey from Aspor claim that Spurs have entered the running to sign the Croatian defender, who has enjoyed an impressive World Cup campaign.
This report follows claims that Everton themselves were readying a €15 million move for the player.
Besiktas have made it clear that they are hoping to receive closer to €30 million following his performances in Russia.
Local rivals Liverpool had also previously been credited with some interest in the player, although those claims have since been dismissed.
Vida is now being tipped to earn a big move this summer after playing a key role at the heart of the Croatian defence alongside Liverpool’s Dejan Lovren.
Everton are also reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Yerry Mina from Barcelona, who could be considered as an alternative to Vida.
