Top Everton target hints at exit from Barcelona
Everton target Yerry Mina has dropped a hint that he could be set to leave Barcelona this summer.
The Toffees have identified the centre-back as a top target ahead of next season, with the player having caught the eye with some excellent performances at the World Cup.
Mina scored three goals for Colombia before they were knocked out by England on penalties in the round of 16, piquing the interest of a number of clubs across Europe.
It’s believed that Fenerbahce are interested in signing the promising centre-back, but Everton’s pursuit of the player has been well-documented in the recent days.
Mina, as quoted by the Daily Mail, was coy when fielding questions regarding his future, admitting that he’d prefer to play in a team where the pressure is less detrimental.
I want to play for a team where there is less pressure and where I can have minutes. I will always try to do my best for me, for my club and I hope that wherever I end up, whether it is at Barcelona or whether I have to leave, I will do it in the best way.
The defender is likely to cost the Toffees a substantial fee this summer, but it seems Mina would be open to making the move away from Camp Nou.
