Usmanov open to Everton investment
Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov could reportedly be open to investing in Everton Football Club after selling his stake at Arsenal.
Bloomberg report that Usmanov could look to remain in football as he considers his options going forward.
Usmanov had been involved at Arsenal before a sale gave Stan Kroenke full control of the club.
The Russian had held a 30% stake in the Gunners but decided to cash in after disagreements with Kroenke over his approach.
Everton could profit from this move with Usmanov known to be a long-term business partner of Farhad Moshiri, who owns the majority stake in the Goodison Park outfit.
The latter has already invested huge sums of money into the club, but the added addition of Usmanov would come as a massive boost.
However, the Toffees are not the only club in the running for Usmanov, Bayern Munich, Milan and AS Roma are also said to be on his list of potential investments.
