Mina yet to begin full training ahead of West Ham clash
Everton’s Summer signing Yerry Mina has yet to begin full training with his new side, and is therefore a doubt for West Ham fixture this weekend.
The Liverpool Echo report that Mina, who joined Everton this Summer from Barcelona in a deal worth over £27 million pounds, is making progress in his recovery from a foot injury, but is still a doubt for the clash with the Hammers this weekend.
Mina, who was a key man for Colombia at the World Cup, is yet to make his debut for the Toffees. Marco Silva had said that the Colombian would not feature until after the international break, but the West Ham game could come to soon for Mina.
Silva also has some other injury worries, with Sheamus Coleman and Dominic Calvert-Lewin both suffering knocks whilst on duty with Ireland and England U-21’s respectively.
Theo Walcott could be available, but he will require tests over the next two days to find out whether or not he can play.
Mina could, therefore, make his debut soon, but West Ham looks like a long shot for the former Barcelona man.
