Everton target Lozano discusses ‘dream’ Barcelona move
Everton and Manchester United target Hirving Lozano has revealed that it would be a dream to join a club like Barcelona.
Speaking ahead of PSV’s meeting with the La Liga giants, Lozano has confirmed that his agent was aware of interest from Barcelona after the World Cup in Russia.
The winger emerged as a target for several clubs this summer after impressing for Mexico and PSV last season.
Marcel Brands was particularly interested in bringing Lozano with him from the Eredivisie side to Goodison Park, but he opted to remain at his current club for a second season.
When quizzed about his next move, Marca reports that Lozano was clear in his admiration for the Catalan heavyweights.
I did well at the World Cup and many clubs came for me. My agent told me there was interest from Barcelona. It would be a dream come true to come to this great club.
Should Lozano replicate his form this season, interest is likely to mount and the Dutch side faces a battle to keep hold of him for much longer.
