Tosun set for Besiktas move
Cenk Tosun will reportedly move back to Besiktas when the January transfer window opens.
According to Turkish outlet MyNet, as cited on TalkSPORT, the Turkish forward will seek a return to his former side after failing to impress at Everton.
Besiktas are in the market for a striker following the departure of Alvaro Negredo and have been linked with a move to sign Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud.
Fellow Everton forward Oumar Niasse has also been linked with a move to Turkey, but it seems that Tosun could be the man they turn to, with Giroud unlikely to pursue a move.
Besiktas have struggled to replace Tosun following his move away from the club, but they have been very open about the idea of a potential return to the club in the future.
Tosun arrived at Goodison Park back in January for £27 million but has failed to live up to expectations at the club.
