Everton not interested in deal to sign Samir Nasri
Everton are not interested in signing Samir Nasir, according to recent reports that have emerged.
It had been claimed that the Frenchman would spend time on trial at the club ahead of the end of his ban from football.
However, the Mirror’s David Anderson reports that this is not the case, despite contrasting reports.
The former Arsenal and Manchester City man is without a club after leaving Antalyaspor in 2018.
Nasri is currently serving a 12-month ban from the game after breaching WADA rules.
The former Manchester City midfielder will be looking to get his career back on track when his ban ends.
He has previously endured a mixed spell at Sevilla after leaving City and will become a free agent once he is available to play competitive football once again.
It is unclear where the player would have fitted into Marco Silva’s side, while he is also likely to be some way off full fitness after a lengthy spell out of the game.
