Everton are up against Manchester United and Liverpool in a race to sign 14-year-old Isak Hansen-Aaroen, with United leading the way, according to the Daily Star.

Despite a tricky start for the Red Devils on the pitch, the Mancunians are looking to continue their tradition of producing high-end academy talent with the signing of Hansen-Aaroen.

Currently in the youth setup of Norwegian side Tromso, the youngster has been in the North West quite a bit over the last year.

Having trials with both Liverpool and Everton, it is understood that both teams still harbour an interest in signing Hansen-Aaroen.

Everton are used to doing battle with United and Liverpool for the transfer of big money stars, but the altogether different struggle for a 14-year-old will pit the three distinguished academies against each other.
