Everton eye up Aleksandar Mitrovic as a possible signing
Everton are potentially keen to sign Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, according to Blic.
The report claims they see the Serb as a “realistic” option, as Marco Silva looks to add quality to his attack.
The Blues have enjoyed a good season to date, but 24 goals in 17 games does not exactly suggest there is lots of firepower in the squad.
There is a feeling that Mitrovic has outgrown Fulham after inspiring them to promotion last season.
He is playing in a side glued to the bottom of the Premier League, with his talent deserving of representing a better team.
Everton would be a perfect fit, with Mitrovic’s aerial dominance and physicality a perfect foil for the more flamboyant Richarlison.
Fulham are highly unlikely to sell in January, considering Mitrovic will be key to them staying up, but a summer exit feels possible.
Should Claudio Ranieri’s men go down, the Serbia international will almost certainly leave.
Chelsea have also been linked with the 24-year-old, who has seven goals to his name this season.
