Everton interested in Watford teenage striker Cassidy
Everton are said to be one of many sides interested in Watford starlet Ryan Cassidy, according to the Irish Mirror.
The 17-year old striker, who scored 25 goals for Watford’s youth side last season, has scored a further 12 goals this campaign and has attracted a number of interested parties.
The young Irishman has just 18 months left on his contract at Vicarage Road, and has a difficult decision to make on the next step of his career.
Watford chiefs are keen to tie the youngster down to a long-term deal, although negotiations haven’t yet taken place.
Aston Villa and Derby County have also been linked with a move for the young forward, who Marco Silva will know personally, having overseen him while manager of the Hornets last campaign.
