Everton are reportedly interested in Manchester City youngster Rabbi Matondo, according to HITC.
The forward has been on the books of Manchester City since 2016, when he made the move from Cardiff City aged just 15.
The Daily Mail have claimed that the prodigy turned down the chance to commit his long-term future to City with the refusal of a contract, becoming the latest in a line of high-profile contract holdouts amongst the Premier League’s best and brightest.
And consequently, Everton are keen to profit from the acrimony.
Matondo has never turned out for City’s senior side and is reportedly eager to break free of the shackles at the Etihad.
With so many world-class forwards ahead of him in the pecking order, it is perhaps not surprising that the Liverpool-born attacker would be keen for a chance away from Manchester.
And, he could be heading back to Merseyside, with the revelation that Marco Silva’s side are interested in the Welsh international.
