Another top-10 finish is on the cards for Everton as the Premier League season draws closer to an end.
After a difficult start for the Toffees, Silva and his side have seemed to turn their luck around, with a possibility of finishing seventh still the target for the Merseyside club.
The signings of Bernard and Richarlison have been important this season; their attacking threats have allowed Everton to create a lot more chances.
However, if they want to start competing against the top six, they will need to improve their current squad and add some more pace and flair to the ranks.
With the signing of another winger, Silva then has the option of playing Richarlison as a striker, either alone or partnered with youngster Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Here is a selection of wingers who Everton should consider signing in the summer transfer window to strengthen their squad and become more dangerous going forward ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
Being only 22, Guedes has a bright future ahead of him, and a move to the Premier League could be a good option for the Portuguese winger. With six goals and two assists to his name this season, his flair and speed have been a huge threat in Spain and the Europa League.
The lightning-fast winger has been on fire for PSV in the Eredivisie this season, scoring 14 goals and accumulating 13 assists in all competitions. Bergwijn has made a huge impression and has been linked to various clubs, but a move to Everton and the Premier League would suit the Dutchman.
The current Arsenal winger has been a consistent player in Unai Emery’s side this season, but a move away from the Emirates is possible. Iwobi would bring experience, pace and flair with him to Goodison Park.
The Senegalese international is still only 21 but has been fantastic in the Ligue 1 this season. The winger has found the back of the net 10 times in all competitions.
Sarr already has a fair bit of experience and would be a fantastic addition to the Everton squad.
The English youngster lit up the Championship last season for Fulham as they were promoted to the Premier League. However, it hasn’t all gone to plan this term, as the Cottagers went straight back down.
Everton should consider signing Sessegnon as he has a lot to prove at this level and would grow under the guidance of Silva.
