Everton made the long-awaited appointment of Marco Silva as their new manager last summer.
They took no time to show their backing to their new manager, handing him a huge transfer war chest to improve his squad.
The Toffees spent around £100m on incomings, and even though all these on paper were really good signings, you can never be too sure what impact they will have.
However, each of Everton’s summer signings have taken no time to adjust and most have flourished. They have arguably had one of the best seasons in terms of signings throughout the entire division.
This has helped Everton have a really strong season and after a great end to the campaign with wins over Arsenal and United, they have moved up the league to finish eighth.
Silva’s team can be really dangerous and cause a lot of problems for anyone on their day, and there is no doubt they will want to push on again with more signings this summer.
Here we will take a look at each of their signings this season and grade them from A-F.
Yerry Mina - E
Mina really has not had the first season he would have hoped for in England.
Signed with a lot of fanfare, the centre-back has struggled with injuries and has made just 13 league appearances.
He will hope that he stays clear of injuries next year in order for him to really shine.
Kurt Zouma - B
The 23-year-old joined on a season-long loan from Chelsea and he has been a mainstay in the Everton line-up.
He has performed well and there’s no doubt Everton will be looking to make this move permanent this summer.
Lucas Digne - A
Digne has been a magnificent signing for Everton and has arguably been the capture of the season in the Premier League.
For just £18 million, Digne has been an absolute bargain for the Toffees and he has easily repaid the faith shown in him from Marco Silva.
Everton really need to keep a hold of their man this summer who will not be short of interest.
Andre Gomes - A
Everton’s second signing from Barcelona last summer was Andre Gomes on loan. He has been a joy to watch at times this season, he makes everything he does look so easy.
He is surplus to requirements at Barca and he will reportedly be available for around £25 million.
Everton will want to keep him but they will have some competition from other teams.
Bernard - C
Bernard has turned out to be a really astute signing on a free from Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Brazilian could do with adding more goals and assists to his game but his trickery has caused problems for a lot of sides this season.
Richarlison - B
Richarlison set off like a house on fire this season, with some early suggestions that he could be the signing of the season.
His form has cooled off slightly as the campaign went on, but he still scored 13 league goals.
In his second season, he will be hoping to push on further to get closer to 20 Premier League goals.
