Everton fans react to the club’s team to face Burnley
Marco Silva has frustrated many fans once again with his starting line-up to face Burnley this afternoon.
Everton have made just one change from the team that lost to Manchester City, with Alex Iwobi replacing Theo Walcott in the starting line-up.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin keeps his place up front for the Toffees, while Morgan Schneiderlin partners Fabian Delph in midfield, behind an attacking trio of Iwobi, Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Silva and the Everton fan base will be hoping to see the club get back to winning ways against the Clarets, after three consecutive losses in the Premier League.
Many fans though weren’t pleased with the line-up announced to play today, with many singling out Schneiderlin’s inclusion as particularly negative.

Playing two defensive midfielders away to Burnley is far too negative, and it isn’t really acceptable from Silva.
Sure, in 90 minutes time if the club have won 4-0 we’ll look back fondly on the line-up, but without the benefit of hindsight it just isn’t how the club should be approaching the game.
I can forgive Moise Kean not starting because DCL is scoring at the moment, but Andre Gomes or Tom Davies should have partnered Fabian Delph for me.
