Manchester United line up move for Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Manchester United are lining up a move to sign Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin, according to a report from TalkSport.
United are reportedly in the market for a new forward and after missing out on a deal to sign RB Salzburg’s Erling Haaland, who has agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund, the Red Devils have apparently turned their attention to Calvert-Lewin.
However, whereas a deal for Haaland could have been relatively cheap due to his release clause, a move for Calvert-Lewin would apparently set United back around £50m.

Everton are no strangers to losing a young striker to Manchester United, as we are all well aware after Wayne Rooney made the short journey down the East Lancs Road to join United.
At that time, it was almost impossible for Everton to keep Rooney but things could be different this time.
The Blues now have one of the most respected managers in the world and they have an owner who does not need to sell players, so if this reported interest in Calvert-Lewin is real, there is no guarantee that United would be able to convince Everton to sell the forward.
