Everton have reportedly offered Leeds United the chance to sign striker Oumar Niasse on loan for the rest of the season.

However, the news hasn’t gone down well with some Whites supporters.

According to reports from Football Insider, the Toffees have offered Leeds Niasse’s services, with the 29-year-old’s contract at Goodison Park set to expire this summer.

The report claims that the Whites are keen to sign a forward this month, however, when @TransferChanger shared the news on social media, these Leeds fans weren’t too impressed.

To be honest, we’re not surprised to see so many supporters against an Elland Road switch for Niasse.

The Senegal international has only featured in 17 minutes of Premier League action this season.

As a result of his limited game time, we’d think it would be extremely difficult for the forward to meet Marcelo Bielsa’s demands for the second half of the season.

We don’t think Bielsa would be keen on the Everton man either due to this, so we can’t see a move materialising over the coming days.

Niasse’s move to Merseyside from Lokomotiv Moscow back in 2016 hasn’t worked out, and we’d be shocked if Carlo Ancelotti wanted to extend the striker’s current deal before the end of the season, purely based off his overall flat four-year stint at the club.
